Olympic Village In Gabon
Project Description
In the scope of infrastructure preparation for the African Cup of Nations in football 2012 VMS made a structural design of the Olympic village for athletes’ accommodation:
The complex is made as a base for various sports teams training, in this case for football. It consists of:
-Apartments area 2.870 m2
-Residential area 1.250 m2
-Public space 2.415 m2
The structure is made mostly of reinforced concrete cast in situ in combination with wooden roof trusses.
