On October 20, 2022, Nikola Matić, CEO & owner of VMS doo Beograd, delivered a guest lecture for 3rd-year students at the Barcelona University, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC).

Nikola Matic gladly accepted an invitation from UPC professor Nikola Tošić to deliver this lecture that explains the FIDIC model of Contracts.

Presentation focus was on overview of different FIDIC Contract Models and analyses on how to improve efficiency in infrastructure projects implementation, as well as best practice examples. Lecture was covering also implementation of new technologies and digitalization in the construction industry: BIM, Structural Health Monitoring, Internet of Things, Digital Consulting, as well as the impact of Demographic and Social changes including generation shifts in the workplace.
