Football Stadiums in Gabon
Project Description
In the scope of infrastructure preparation for the African Cup of Nations in football 2012 VMS made detailed structural designs of three stadiums:
– Bongoville stadium with a capacity of 2.500 covered seats and a total area of 3.497m2
-Franceville stadium with a capacity of 1.250 covered seats and a total area of 1.150m2
-Ngouoni complex stadium with a capacity of 1.250 covered seats and a total area of 1.150m2
The structural system of all stadiums combines precast and monolithic reinforced concrete structures for stands and steel structures for the roof.
