Sheikh Kalifa Medical City (SKMC) Abu Dhabi, UAE

The new Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) will be a medical complex in the heart of Abu Dhabi. Conceived as “three hospitals under one roof”, this medical complex will combine a General Hospital with a level 1 trauma center, a tertiary Women’s Hospital, and a Pediatric Hospital. The building is a complex structure done as monolith concrete combined with steel structure.
The main tasks were:
• Detailed design of the steel structure
• Check structural analysis and calculations

Total amount of steel is approx. 3.000 tons.
