Modular School Aquatics Facility

The project proposes a flexible swimming pool facility designed as an addition to existing school complexes. Developed around a standard 25 × 25 metre pool, the concept combines a clear architectural layout with an efficient structural system, allowing the building to be adapted to different school sites and spatial requirements.

The proposal was conceived as a scalable model rather than a single fixed solution. Depending on the size of the school, available site, and required capacity, the system can accommodate smaller pool configurations while maintaining the same principles of circulation, functionality, and construction.

The design focuses on creating a compact and recognisable sports facility that can be efficiently integrated into existing educational environments, providing schools with dedicated swimming infrastructure while allowing the architectural and structural solution to respond to different contexts and programme requirements.
